I am filled with gratitude. And I have BIG NEWS.
The third book in my "A Port Stirling Mystery" series has launched and it’s selling like pancakes and bacon on a rainy Oregon Saturday morning. Thank you for buying my books, and your invaluable support.
If you’ve been busy and haven’t read Code: Tsunami yet, it’s now available at Amazon, and to order at your favorite bookstore. You can also request it at your library if they don’t have it stocked yet, and they’ll order it for you.
It’s early, but the reviews and ratings for Code: Tsunami are good, borderline great. Here’s a sentence from one U.S. Amazon reviewer: “A wonderful story about the southern Oregon coast with a masterful intertwining of three distinct stories.”
Yes, my ego loves a good review, but reviews are more than that. They help other readers find my books – more than my advertising campaigns, more than all the other marketing strategies I employ. Bookstores make buying decisions based in large part on reader reviews and ratings. Same with libraries. Won’t you take a minute now and write a quick review on Amazon or Goodreads?
OK, I’m done begging…on to the BIG NEWS. Because of you and your ongoing support for my mystery series, I was approached by the #1 audiobook publisher in the country last week. Long story short, we have signed a deal, and all of my books in the current series – and any other books I may write – will be published as an audiobook along with the e-book and the print versions. I can’t give you the details like timing, etc. yet, but I promise to keep you up-to-date on this exciting process. I told the audiobook people that I have Matthew McConaughey in mind when I write in Matt Horning’s voice. They didn’t roll their eyes.
